To us wearing black is a sign of being different, going against the grain, it's a sign of mourning, of protest, of being an individual, it's about making a statement and standing up for what you believe in. Most importantly, it's about being yourself. Freedom and freedom of expression is something that we encourage in all people.

Wear Black Clothing company was started by a group of independent artist and musicians who were tired of having all the big media corporations controlling the pipeline. These companies decide what you see hear and do, we believe these decisions should be made by you and not them. It has always been a struggle for the independent artist, because if they don't fit into their mold, or the current trend, they won't get a shot at earning a living with there craft. The big media companies keep a tight grip on this, controlling the radio stations, the TV stations and the retail distribution channels.

If you're not backed by one of these big companies, it's very difficult to get your art to the people. We think we can change that and make a difference. Our goal is to be actively involved in the independent art, film and music communities by supporting programs and contributing to the development of these upcoming artist. Making this media accessible to the people is the first step towards the freedom to choose. Things are changing, little by little through cable TV, satellite radio and the Internet, the independent community is chipping away at the machine. There are many choices out there other then the mainstream, soon the people will be deciding what the next big thing is, rather then being force-fed a bunch of bullshit until it starts to taste good.
